The Apriltsi Solar PV Plant is not only huge, but also a technological leader
It is the first project in Europe built entirely with HJT photovoltaic panels. They offer significantly higher efficiency and output power compared to conventional crystalline silicon cells. In order to optimize the maximum absorption of solar radiation, the panels are mounted on an innovative tracker structure that automatically adjusts the orientation of the panels to the movement of the sun throughout the day. This provides an increase in energy productivity by up to 40% compared to standard facilities.
In addition to the iconic "Apriltsi", "Solar Green Energy" has successfully implemented a number of other photovoltaic power plants at various locations in the country with over 130 MW of installed capacity.
